After a month on pain meds, I had it refilled and read the side effects. Mental mood changes - that's what was making me obsessive about contacting the D.O. and filling my head with thoughts of death and suicide. Good by pills. Things still weren't right for me. A visiting preacher spoke four nights in a row. On the fourth night, he prayed for me and told me I was feeling things in my body I had never felt before. He was right. Down I went and God began to do His work. I saw a picture of him with a chisel chipping off pieces of my stone heart. I cried, spoke in tongues and in English, and then there was peace. He healed my mind!

God has been showing me the benefits of surrendering to Him. First, God is in charge and that gives me a great sense of security. There's no more getting bent out of shape, worrying, or fear. I believe He is loving me and taking care of me and he shows me that in very special little ways.

Who is the only one who is always going to be there? Who is the only one who will never disappoint me? Who is the only one who can meet all my needs? Who is in control?
God! I am getting the message.
